Autonomous university in the system of modern social and economic relations

Abstract

Analysis of the problem shows that in the developed countries, it is required additional substantiation. New factors that have emerged recently made the search for optimal solutions that would satisfy the state, the academic community, society as a whole more complicated. The most important factor is the mass higher education trend. Therefore, the subject of the study is the autonomy of universities as one of the basic components of European education and the principles of academic freedoms. As a result, the measures to effectively develop the autonomy of universities in Ukraine have been introduced.

Аналіз проблеми свідчить, що й у розвинених країнах ця проблема вимагає додаткових обґрунтувань. Нові фактори, що з’явились останнім часом, ускладнили пошук оптимальних рішень, які задовольняли б державу, академічне співтовариство, суспільство в цілому. Найважливішим із цих факторів є тенденція до масовості вищої освіти. Тому предметом дослідження обрано автономію університетів як одну з базових складових Європейської освіти та принципи академічних свобод. В результаті представлено кроки, які необхідно виконати для ефективного розвитку автономії ВНЗ в Україні.
