Формування етичних засад академічної доброчесності в майбутніх педагогів при викладанні дисципліни "Риторика та мистецтво презентації"

Abstract

У статті розглянуто питання формування етичних засад академічної доброчесності при викладанні дисципліни "Риторика та мистецтво презентації", розкрито актуальність теми на сучасному етапі. У роботі досліджено вплив старогрецьких вчених, філософів, визначних риторів-педагогів вітчизняного красно­мовства на формування морально-духовних чеснот у майбутніх педагогів. Доведено, що підготовка презентації, виголошення промови перед аудиторією сприяють вихованню етичних засад академічної доброчесності: відповідальності, самостійності, мужності, чесності, порядності, довіри, поваги до слухачів. Зазначено, що морально-етичні цінності, задекларовані академічною спільнотою, є ключовими при формуванні індивідуальності майбутніх педагогів як висо­копрофесійних фахівців, здатних до творчого саморозвитку.

The paper considers the formation of ethical foundations of academic honesty in future teachers while teaching the “Rhetoric and the Art of Presentation” discipline. It also points to the topicality of the problem at the present stage. It has been mentioned that with the introduction of modern information and communication technologies, the professional activity of the teacher is diversified, the ability to make a presentation becomes more relevant, and therefore rhetoric integrates into «Rhetoric and the Art of Presentation» discipline.The primary task of the paper is to consider the formationof moral and ethical values in students, listening to the course of “Rhetoric and the Art of Presentation”. To fulfil the task, the historical stages of the development of rhetoric, and the times of Ancient Greecein particular, the development of national eloquence have been considered in the work through the prism of moral and ethical aspect. Theoretical part of classical rhetoric has been paid much attention to as well. The influence of ancient Greek scholars, philosophers, prominent rhetoricians-educators of national eloquence on the formation of moral and spiritual virtues (humanism, patriotism, justice, honesty, goodness, love) in would be teachers has been considered in the paper. It is proved that the presentation delivering, presenting the speech to the audience contribute to the formation of ethical principles of academic integrity, and namely: responsibility, independence, courage, decency, respect for the listeners. It has been mentioned that the moral and ethical values declared by the academic community are the most important in shaping firstly the individuality of teachers to be, being highly professional specialists, capable of self-improvement, creative self-development, and secondly, a responsible citizen, committed to respect for human dignity, to professionalism for the benefit of society. Thus, the paper proves that the ethical foundations of academic virtue are being formedth rough mastering the theoretical foundations of rhetoric, classical examples of oratorical speech of antiquity, linguistic creativity of Ukrainian writers, publicists, scholars, and holy speaking people.
