Abstract

To identify a number of methods, adequate to Ukrainian reality, which will be the base of evaluation rating system of scientific and pedagogical workers of higher educational institutions. The author used general scientific methods: analysis and synthesis; system analysis; synthesis. The theoretical achievements of domestic and foreign academic literature have enabled to develop specific recommendations for a higher institution management in developing a system of scientific and pedagogical staff rating, which concerns the content of the self-assessment questionnaire, the rating calculation methodology and the approaches to teachers stimulating. The conceptual framework that reveals the essence of economic processes in higher education institutions activity has been systematized. The proposed conceptual framework clearly differentiates processes and phenomena that university management faces daily, and can be used by universities in Ukraine providing particular evaluation criteria.
