Реєстр Війська Запорозького Низового 1756 р. як джерело вивчення лінгвістичних і етнічних контактів південних слов'ян і запорозьких козаків у середині ХVІІІ століття

Abstract

У статті проаналізовано етимологічний склад південнослов’янізмів у Реєстрі Війська Запорозького Низового 1756 р. та зроблена спроба встановити етнічне походження носіїв цих особових назв. Аналіз антропонімного матеріалу пам’ятки дозволяє припустити існування в середині ХVІІІ ст. певної взаємодії між українською та південнослов’янськими мовами на рівні ідентифікації особи. Її результатом могло бути, як правило, адаптоване засвоєння запозичених елементів за законами українського словотвору.

The article deals with analysis of the etymological staff of the South Slavisms in the 1756 Register of the Zaporozhian Host and attempt to determine the ethnic origin of the bearers of these personal names. The phonetic principle of the etymological analysis did not bring appreciable results for revelation of the South Slavisms in the antroponymic material of the register. The largest group in number, which reflects the South Slav-Ukrainian interrelations, in the register makes up the fromethnonymic family names: Булгаринъ, Македонъ (2 persons), Сербинъ (16 persons). The migratory processes were the principal cause of appearance of the fromethnonymic anthroponims. At the same time, such anthropolexemes not necessary point to a person belonging to a suitable nationality. Moreover, all personal names of the bearers of the fromethnonymic family names are in use in the register only in the typical Ukrainian phonetic proclaiming. World-building principle of the etymological analysis turned out not very effective to determine of the South Slavisms, because the etymology of anthroponyms, which are made from suffix -ич, as a rule can be explained, supporting by lexical compositions of the Ukrainian language. In general, the objective identification of the person is impossible without comprehensive acquaintance with the historical context, in which the register arose and functioned. The analysis of the anthroponynic material of the register permit to suppose the existence in the middle of the XVIII cen. f certain interaction between Ukrainian and South Slav languages at the level of the identification of the person. Its result may be, as a rule, adapted mastering loan-elements according to the laws of the Ukrainian word-building. But, in spite of the limited possibilities of searching of South Slavs in the register and approximate character of receipted results, this monument contains the irrefutable evidence of the existence of the interethnic contacts on the Zaporozhian territory in the middle of the XVIII cen.
