Abstract:	Now at updating ot a short flax fibre it is necessary to get split and cleaned fibre for creation of new assortment of flax tabrics of modern structures. Various factors of intensification of this process: mechanical, chemical, biological and their combinations, are suggested. In this work the results of research of physical and chemical influence оn splitting of flax fibre during updating are submitted.
