Research on the application of ink elements in modern interior furnishing art

Abstract

The work is devoted to the art historical study of the concept of introducing the traditional art of ink graphics into the space of a modern Chinese interior and into furniture design. Samples of interior architecture and design products (wall painting, staircase design, furniture upholstery) were selected and analyzed. Visual assessment by observers of the object-spatial environment, in which images of different themes and scales are applied in the ink technique, made it possible to determine the perspective of form formation based on the symbiosis of graphic art and environment design. The inclusion of objects of this art in the space creates an atmosphere of mental peace, concentration on one's own thoughts, contributes to the optimization of thought-activity processes. In terms of style, such composite architectural and artistic solutions certainly belong to minimalism, but with Chinese traditional features.
