Abstract:	This paper offers using a modern lighting fixture as an example to illustrate the recommended stages of the design process. After analyzing software tools, a 3D software Blender was selected for its broad range of capabilities and functionality. The recommended stages of lighting fixture creation are sketching, modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering.
