Abstract: | This article examines how video games can be used as a form of education, combining entertainment with learning. We will look at games like "The Valiant Hearts" and "This War of Mine" to illustrate how video games can help develop critical thinking skills and decision-making abilities, as well as provide immersive historical narratives. We will also explore popular franchises such as "Assassin's Creed" and "Minecraft," which offer opportunities for experiential learning and creative thinking. Whether it's exploring historical settings or building whole cities, video games provide accessible and enjoyable methods of learning. To summarize, this article emphasizes video games' positive impact on education. They are highly engaging and accessible, making them an effective tool to help learners of all ages develop new skills and learn in meaningful ways. |
