Abstract: This paper examines the theoretical foundations and pedagogical mechanisms of intercultural personality formation through polycultural education. To achieve this objective, the study employs a comprehensive set of research methods, prioritizing the analysis, synthesis, comparison, and systematization of scientific and pedagogical literature. The paper contrasts traditional multiculturalism, which tends to view cultures as static and isolated entities emphasizing differences, with polyculturalism, which conceptualizes cultures as dynamic, interactive, and mutually enriching systems formed through continuous historical and contemporary exchange. Polycultural education is examined as an innovative pedagogical process realized through gradual personal development from ethnic identity (I-ethnic) to civic identity (I-civic) and global identity (I-global). The core content of this educational model encompasses familiarization with ethnic, national, and world cultural heritage, the cultivation of a polycultural worldview, and the expansion of global consciousness.
